Any hotel designed by Jacques Garcia, the
French designer responsible for the rejuvenation of La Mamounia Marrakech (, as
well as many other hotel project: the Hotel Coste, Paris, la Reserve, Geneva,
the Hotel Metropole, Monte Carlo) is going to cause a stir. So there are
definite murmurings in Marrakech where GLA Hotels is to open its first property
in March. The palace hotel is situated in a 15-acre park to the south of the
city close to three golf courses. They'll be an extravagant spa with 15
treatment rooms, indoor and outdoor pools, a hamman, a library bar and two
restaurants and most impressive of all private collection of 16 Arabian horses
some of which will be available for guest to ride.T he Selman will have 56 rooms and suites, as well as five private
riads.
